Undeniably and undoubtedly, Turkey is one of the most visited countries in the world. Truly, it has been regarded as the premier tourist destination, not just in its region, but in the whole world as well. Since there are so many great deals on holidays to Turkey, you, your family, and other loved ones can definitely experience and enjoy Turkey without spending that much. To know more about what Turkey has to offer, you might want to listen to Rebecca Braden.
Take a couple of minutes with Rebecca Braden from WatchMojo.com as she shows you Hagia Sophia, Sultan Ahmed Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Troy and Pamukkale. All of these are certainly worth seeing, but I would probably disagree with her premise that these are the top five 'must sees' in Turkey. In fact, it would take a several month-long holiday to experience all the places in Turkey which are extremely memorable.

Your Turkish Holidays Information Turkey has become the premiere holiday destination for British, German, Dutch and Russian travellers looking for a sun-soaked holiday away from the all to often cold and cloudy environs of northern Europe. Nationals from these countries often congregate in resort destinations frequented by others of their own nationality. For the British the holiday resorts of Dalyan, Marmaris, Kalkan and Fethiye seem to be their primary choice of locations. The Russians seem particularly drawn to holiday resorts like Antalya, Kemer and Tekirova. German travellers also enjoy the holiday resorts like Camyuva, Cirali, Sarigerme and smaller resorts near Antalya. The Dutch are drawn to holiday resorts which offer amenities that allow for hiking, diving and other outdoor physical activities. The Finnish seem to have taken on Camyuva - the French are fascinated by Cappadocia and Americans never seem to get much past Istanbul. Holiday resorts like Bodrum and Kaş draw on an international crowd as well as a large number of more affluent Turkish from cities like Istanbul, Izmir and Ankara.
Whatever your nationality - Turkey has the perfect holiday experience for you. If it is active outdoor adventure travel, party-hardy nightlife and seaside or poolside relaxation - Turkey has the ideal holiday resort for you.

Turkey's primary international airport is Istanbul's Ataturk International Airport. Ankara's Esenboğa Airport handles a comparatively limited selection of international flights but connects with all the domestic locations. There are also direct charters to the Mediterranean holiday resort destinations via airports in Antalya, Dalaman and Bodrum during the peak summer season. Sabiha Gökçen Airport can be of special interest to those traveling on low-cost carriers. This airport is situated some 50 kilometers east of Istanbul's Taksim Square on the Asian side of Istanbul. The airlines servicing this airport include Pegasus, EasyJet, Germanwings, Condor, THY and many more. Adana Şakirpaşa Airport is a fairly small airport that serves the Adana the fourth largest city in Turkey on the Çukurova plain about 30 kilometres inland from the Mediterranean Sea. Adana Şakirpaşa Airport serves more than 2 million passengers each year through at least a dozen airlines from around the world.
